Here's an email that I typically get: "Hi Carol, I have 30 (or 50 or 100) lb. to lose and I've been overweight for 10 years. I don't get much exercise because I am working so much and caring for my children. I have a lot of stress in my life."
Yes, you can use EFT for weight loss, no doubt. It will stop food cravings and the emotions that drive stress eating.
But it won't stop all the stress unless you work on that too. So, another way to approach it is to use EFT for the source of your stress.
Most people KNOW what is stressing them out. It can be your job, your family, your relationships, promising too much, overcommitting yourself . . . or all of the above. Something is causing you to feel tension and pressure. And you are probably worn out from dealing with it over time.
The biggest cause of overeating is tense tiredness. And many people feel that way most of the time. So in addition to working on the food and weight issues directly, work on the main source of stress in your life. If you can calm down about that, you won't have nearly as much urge to reach for cookies.
