EFT Weight Loss For Dogs Too?

Molly_pic5 It seems like all of my friends are passionate about dogs, cats and/or horses. And I am too! I've even written an article for Gary's site about using EFT with my 9-year-old beagle for her sluggishness, which turned her into a playful pup! It seems to me that dogs have an asssortment of issues, behavioral, emotional and physical that could be helped by EFT. I am wondering if EFT can help with weight loss, even in dogs! I am starting a website to provide information on healthcare for dogs (I completely fell in love with the photo!) So I think I will include EFT on it too!

EFT Helps A Stubborn Weight Loss Problem When Nothing Else Works

Scale My friend "Sally" was stuck and frustrated in her efforts to lose weight, and she was interested in using EFT for weight loss. Sally was one of those people who was doing everything right, but the weight still wouldn't come off. She worked out every day . . . she ate healthy . . . she ate very few sweets . . . she tried different diets, and still, her weight just wouldn't budge.

She had a few theories . . . she thought it might be due to hormonal issues, or that she should cut back on the 2 glasses of wine she had with dinner. Sally got a VERY unexpected result . . . and she wasn't too pleased with it either! Click here to read the full story. 

Emotional Freedom: Is Weight Loss Safe?

From my EFT weight loss inbox: "Does it matter whether we "lose" weight, which means that we will find it again, or whether we choose to 'eliminate' or  'remove' weight?"

First of all, when we "lose" weight, we don't necessarily "find" it again, as in when you "lose" your keys. If you believe you will find it again, then you probably will. The self-fulfilling prophecy is a very powerful principle. So one thing to do to maintain weight loss with EFT is to change your beliefs to be more congruent with your goal.

Emotional Freedom Techniques: Food Cravings Gone!

I had an interesting chat with a woman in my audio program on the phone the other day. She told me a quick story about using EFT for food cravings. 

Cheese_puffs_9 "I had an urge for a bag of Cheetos!" she said. (We all know the feeling!) She didn't exactly know how to use EFT, but she had read a little bit about it.

So she tapped on the karate chop point and said "I love and accept myself exactly as I am. Cheetos don't bring me happiness. Losing weight does."

She just kept tapping on that 1 point, and the craving went away. I love this story for several reasons.

She dove in even though she wasn't sure exactly what to do. She just said what she was feeling and didn't worry about getting the words "perfect."

It shows the incredible flexibility (and power) of EFT. It can work . . . even if you're a beginner . . . and even if you aren't sure what to do. Now how cool is that?

I love the affirmation of self acceptance ("I love and accept myself exactly as I am.") So often we want to be different so badly, we just can't accept ourselves as we are right now. This is an important step not to skip and it is built into EFT set up statements.

Tapping in an affirmation ("Cheetos don't bring me happiness. Losing weight does") seems to make the affirmation far more effective. I like tools that can amplify an already positive process.

Weight Loss Success Story: "How They Did It" Series

I don't think there's anything better or more inspiring or motivating than talking to people who have been there and have been successful . . . their own way.

That's why we interviewed Michele Brodbeck for the Lose Weight Now Audio Program. Her story is simply inspiring! She lost 43 lb. and kicked a 1200 calorie/day soda habit. She taught herself to stay on track and even shares her winning self-talk.

It's important to stay hopeful and inspired, to keep your spirits elevated. Michele is a regular person. If she can do it, so can you!
