Allowing Weight Loss


EFT for Weight Loss Emotional FreedomThe opposite of sabotaging is *allowing*. No matter what you are trying to accomplish, you cannot be successful unless you allow it. Just think of how many times you have lost weight or earned extra money only to undo what you have accomplished.

This occurs because some thought or feeling gets in the way. You may not feel comfortable with the extra attention you get with your new slim body. Just the anticipation of getting compliments from others can send you straight to the refrigerator.

Once you accomplish your goal, you may feel pressure to maintain it. You can feel out of your comfort zone, even though it is what you consciously desire. We typically don’t anticipate these feelings. We *think* everything will be perfect when we lose weight.

The easiest way to relieve the pressure is to put the weight back on. It’s not what we consciously want, of course, but the subconscious desire to stay within the comfort zone usually wins.

To start allowing success more, treat this directly with Emotional Freedom Techniques for weight loss (EFT): Even though I sabotage myself, I now choose to allow my success.
