Hi Carol. I read your email and also listened to your audio about nondieting weight loss strategies.
I had already conquered a lot of stuff, but I have tapped for 2 months on weight loss with EFT — all my cravings for salty snacks, popcorn, Pepsi etc. have all disappeared but I still can't seem to lose any weight.
I used to drink at least 3 Pepsi's a day, have popcorn and or Cheetos at least once a day. I can't stand any of them anymore. I also lost any cravings for ice cream. I had already lost my taste for most sweet things. They just taste sickening to me.
You would think with all of that out of my diet I would lose some pounds but so far nothing. I use the phrase: even though I have this weight problem I completely love and accept myself and I choose to weigh 156 pounds. I saw on Gary's DVDs to go up or down a pound. It still isn't working. Do you have any suggestions? Dorothy

You have gotten a lot of results, even though it is not showing up on the scale yet.
Here are some ideas:
1. First, try completing this statement to try to figure out what is getting in your way:
I can't lose weight because __________. (This is the most important work you will do, since it will show you where your resistance is).
Then . . . whatever comes up . . . even if it doesn't make sense, tap on that.
2. Try to make your statements as specific as possible.
For instance, "Even though I have this weight problem, . . . " is pretty general.
Instead try statements like these:
Even though I can't lose weight . . .
Even though I refuse to lose weight . . .
Even though nothing is working . . .
3. Tap on whatever your feelings are:
Even though I am so frustrated that I am not losing weight . . .
