If normal statements aren’t working for you, try some paradoxical statements.
For example, for weight loss:
It’s all about food.
I can’t think of anything else.
I REFUSE to think of anything else.
That’s all there is.
There’s nothing else.
I have to have it.
I can’t live without it.
I have to think about it all the time.
Otherwise, I might have a feeling 🙂
I cannot let go of this weight.
I will NOT let go of this weight.
It is easier to think about food than to feel my feelings, so I WILL not stop!
You can’t make me!
Sometimes a paradoxical approach is just what to need to shake things up, put a smile on your face and get out of a rut. Just take your issue and turn it upside down.
